Swedish composer whose music was very popular from the 1920s through the 1940s. In America his songs were recorded by Fred Carlsten, Arvid Franzen, George Hultgren, Eddie Jahrl, Ted Johnson and the Hjalmar Peterson Orchestra. They also appeared in the songbooks of Hjalmar Peterson and Bert Leman.

Olle i Skratthult was the stage name of Hjalmar Peterson, a Swedish-born entertainer who achieved great popularity during the 1910s and 1920s. "Inga-Lill" was credited to Einar Björke, one of the composer's many pseudonyms.
